(Note that Savage refers to DANIEL THOMAS as "eldest son of JOHN")

"Daniel Thomas, New Haven, eldest son of John of the same name, was propounded a freeman in 1670.
Married on Feb 3, 1670 Rebecca Thompson, perhaps daughter of John Thompson.
Children:
Dorothy
John born 1674
Daniel born Feb 14, 1677
Dinah born Dec 26, 1678
Samuel born Jan 13, 1681, died young
Recompense born March 27, 1683
Israel born 1689
Daniel died in February of 1694 and his widow married a Perkins.
His daughter, Dorothy married on April 13, 1693 Henry Toll or Towle [Tolle]."
