Ursula Phillips Hood

Tishomingo, MS~~~Ursula Underwood Hood, 92, life expired on Jan. 24, 2010 at the Iuka Hospital. She was born in Tishomingo, to John Oren Sr. and Ercell Blunt Underwood.
She was a retired school teacher having taught at Forrest Grove, Red Bay, and Tishomingo schools.
She was a member of the Tishomingo Baptist Church. Survivors include her son Thomas Harold Hood Jr. (Mona Sue) of Florence, AL; one granddaughter, Tara Roberson (Paul) of Florence, AL, and two great grandchildren, Ross and Owen Roberson: two sisters, Ruth Bowen and Margaret Underwood of Tishomingo, and three brothers, Harold Underwood (Martha), of Harriman, TN, Karl Underwood (Kathy) of Tupelo, and Kenneth Underwood, of Aberdeen, MS, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents: four brothers, J. O.Jr., Bluford, Arch Blunt, and James Francis Underwood.
