Usher Kishinevski was one of the richest jewish in Bendery. He was the bigest merchant of wheat in the city, and after it he was also a banker ( the Moldovian Bank General director). The Jewish respect him because his generosity to the poor and to the ill people. He helped to build the big synagauge ( Beit Hacneset Hagadol), and asa Zionist ( managed the K K L. The local authorities respected him because he was very clever and never said something that he had to regret about. He lived in Pushkin st. near Charozinski neibourhood.
