Klein-Evans Valerie Joy, age 68 of Minnetonka, dearest wife, mother, grammy, sister and friend. Preceded in death by parents, Ben & Bert Pink; and sister & brother-in-law, Corinne & Murray Goldstein. Survived by loving husband, Jerry Evans; beloved children Debra Klein (Diana Ensign) of Stillwater, Paula Klein (MaryLou Fassel) of Toronto, Cindy Klein (Sue Hibbard) of Cambridge, MN and Brad Klein (Michelle Klein) of Mpls.; stepchildren, Susanne Storm (Paul), Wendy Friede- Jaffe (Jay), and Rick Friede; sister & brother- in-law, Nina Wernick (Bob) of Rancho Mirage CA; uncle & aunts, Marvin Fredkove (Sybil) of Boynton Beach FL, and Florence "Tippy" Lieberman of St. Louis Park; grandchildren, David and Liora Klein of Toronto, and Sam and Josie Klein of Mpls; step-grandchildren, Laurel and Anna Storm, and Carly and Joseph Jaffe; and 10 plus foster grandchildren; nieces, Laura and Carrie Wernick; many cousins and lifelong friends. Valerie was an active volunteer within her community who gave with all her heart to those who entered her life. She will be deeply loved & missed by all who knew her. Funeral services MONDAY, 1:30 PM, ADATH JESHURUN CONGREGATION, 10500 WEST HILLSIDE LANE, MNTKA.
