Velda Talbot
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Philomena
Church in Labadieville for Velda Daigle Talbot, 79, a native of Napoleonville and
resident of Thibodaux, who died at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 5.
Visitation will be 7 to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at
Landry's Funeral Home in Labadieville.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was the mother of Larry, Donald and Achille Boudreaux Jr.; sister of Felix,
Walter Jr., Earl and Harry Daigle, Lucy Cancienne and Mrs. Emile "Princess" Borne.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Achille Boudreaux Sr.; second
husband, Elvest Talbot; parents, Walter Sr. and Cecile Hebert Daigle; two sons,
Marcel Boudreaux and Manuel Talbot; and a brother, Everette Daigle Sr.
Landry's Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
