41.VERLINCHE9 BRANCH (JAMES8, THOMAS7, CHRISTOPHER6, LIONEL5, WILLIAM4, RICHARD3, JOHN2, JOHN1) was born 1708, and died WFT Est. 1723-1788.She married OLIVE BRANCH, son of MATTHEW BRANCH and FRANCES WARE.He was born 1705 in Chesterfield County, and died 1779 in Chestfield County.

Married his cousin Verentia Branch. deeded on Feb. 1, 1754 by Daniel Branch of the county of Cumberland,225 acres, part of a tract of 450 acres, adjoining lands of William Bryd, and described as having been purchased by Matthew said Matthew to the said Daniel.. Deed. Feb 13,1754, by Olive of Dale parish to William Byrd of West over, conveying a tract on both sides of Reedy Creek, containing 94 acres on the south side of Rocky Ridge adjoining land of John Marklam.Deed July 8, 1755, by Olive Branch to Thomas Branch conveying plantation whereon Olive Branch now lives containing 450 acres, to secure a debt of 74 pounds and 11shillings provided that if Olive Branch repay this sum to Thomas Branch before July 8, 1756 this instrument be void.. Deed, April 6, 1764, by Olive Branch, Sr. to his son James Branch conveying 100 acres adjoining land of the said James Branch of the said Olive Branch, Sr. of Wiliam Byrd.Deed, April 6 Branch, deceased from John Tullettt and given by the will of the 1764, by Olive Branch Sr. to his son Olive Branch, Jr. conveying 100 acres adjoining lands owned severally by John Markham, William Byrd and the two parties to this deed.
