6. Humphry Simmons, born about 1748, married Verlinda Willett [Simmons] 27 Mar 1794. She was born about 1746. Her parents were William Willett and Mary Griffith. Verlinda was the widow of Humphry's first cousin Samuel Simmons; eight children, page 10c-7. Humphry died early 1800, age about 52.
Between 1810 and 1815, Verlinda married Dr (--?--) McKay, Parroquet Springs, Bullitt Co KY. She probably died about 1820, age possibly about 74.
Humphry and Verlinda, three children: Mary (about 1795), Nancy (about 1797), and Jenny (about 1800). We note that Verlinda was about 48 years old when she married Humphry.
