About Verlinda Williams
Not the same as Wife of William Williams
Verlinda was the daughter of Thomas Lamar and Martha Blanford. She married William Williams (1720-1788).

In the will of Thomas Lamar, he names his son-in-law William Williams, who married his daughter Verlinda. [1]
In the name of God amen. I Thomas LAMAR of prince Georges County being in good health of bodey and sound and in perfect mind and Memory … Sworn January 31 1748[?] before me:
… I give to my Son in Law William WILLIAMS part of that track caled the Conclution begining at the banded tree and from thence with the Lines till he comes to Wickhams path that leads to my Son Thomases Marsh the path such as my Son John Comes to and with that path to the head of Thomases Marsh from thence with the Lines til he comes against the Poplers before mentioned where my Son Samuell comes to all to the Southern towards hills[?]. I give that track to him and his heirs and assigns forever.

sells tract ofland, called "Discontent," beginning at end of 26th line, containing 100 acres; signed Wm Williams, before Jno Rawlins, David Lynn. Verlinda the wife of the within named Wm Williams released dower right. Receipt. AF- paid.
