About Victoria Alex
Victoria was the daughter of Thomas and Frances Stanavage Rasimas (Rasimavicius). In addition to a twin who died at birth, she had the following siblings: Joseph and Enoch Rasimas (Grand Rapids, MI) and Tessie Rasimas Salasavage (Silisavage-Silasavage) NY, NY.
Both she and her husband operated the Alex Saloon and Hotel at 300 East Center St. in Shenandoah for many years.
She married Andrew Alex in Shenandoah, PA and had the following children: John (1885-1913); Andrew Jr. (1887-1901), Katherine Alex Zane-Zanecosky (1889-1979); Edward Alex (1893-1939); Violet Alex Yanchusk (1906-2003).
