About Vilhelm Julius Ledebur

Charlotta Hedvig got married after 1748 to Wilhelm Julius Ledebur. Wilhelm Julius was a son to customs scribe Hans Ledebur and Elisabeth Sweder, born in Greifwald in the 1st of November 1701. Wilhelm Julius became firs t a student in Greifwald, after that ordinate to Uppåkra in 7 September 1727, then 2nd assistant vicar in Malmö 1729 and finally vicar in Södra Villie 1739. He got married to Maria Munthe in 1730 in the city o f Lund. Maria died in 1733. Wilhelm Julius got married again to Anna Christina Wrangel in 1734 in Hyby. Anna Christina was born 1714 and died in 1748. Wilhelm got married a third time to Charlotta Hedvig Bulich. Wilhelm Julius' son, born 1741, was adopted into trading in the city of Lund in 1772. He was beneficiary to his stepmother, Charlotta Hedvig, and go t from her the property Böttraryd, 1/2 mantal (assessment unit of land), 'frälse' (exemption from land dues to the Crown ) in Ydre härad, in the region of Östergötland. In 1820 he donated 2000 'riksdaler banco' to the University of Lund a s a scholarship fund in favour for students born in the cities Malmö or Lund.
