Msgr. V. W. Worzalla The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Vincent W. Worzalla, 73, pastor, Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South St. Paul, and a native Winonan, died suddenly of a heart attack late Monday. (Note Monday was Oct. 8, 1962) He was born April 5, 1889, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Worzalla, attended St. Stanislaus Seminary, Chicago, and completed his study for the priesthood at Orchard Lake Seminary, Detroit. He was ordained June 8, 1915 at the St. Paul Seminary and was invested as a monsignor May 20, 1947.

After his ordination he was an assistant at Holy Cross Church, Minneapolis. Then he served at Silver Lake, Minn, and returned to Holy Cross Church as a pastor. He had been pastor at Holy Trinity Church since 1951.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, John Cieminski, Winona; a niece, Mrs. Walter (Ann) Winiecki, Winona, and a nephew, the Rev. Dennis Worzalla, Holy Family College, Manitowoc, Wis.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thrusday at Holy Trinity Church, South St. Paul. Burial will be in the family lot at St. Mary's Cemetery, Winona. Watkowski Funeral home is in charge.

Monsignor Vincent Worzalla was named pastor (of Holy Trinity in South St. Paul, Minnesota) in 1951 and the new convent and school were constructed in 1954.
