Secondary sources show Violante as the third wife of Lucchino and mother of his three younger legitimate children. However, this is inconsistent with the sources which record his wife Elisabetta as still alive when Lucchino was killed and as mother of his son Lucchino (see the document MILAN) and also appears to be chronologically impossible.
