Pachymeres records the marriage of "quidam Spinulus…filia" and "filium imperatoris Theodorum", dated to [1306] from the context[401]. Benvenuto di San Giorgio, quoting Ruffino Ventura Astense, records the marriage of "Theodorus filius Imperatoris Græcorum" and "filiam Oppicini Spinulæ tunc Capitanei Januæ…Argentinam"[402].
