About Virgie Mae Lloyd
Mrs. Virgie Mae Lloyd, 87, of 2304 Lafayette Blvd, died Thursday in Woodmont Nursing Home.
Mrs. Lloyd was the widow of Sampson Lloyd and a member of Olivet United Methodist Church in Spotsylvania County.
She was survived by two sons, Frank S. and Raymond M. Lloyd both of Spotsylvania County; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby L Dickinson of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Hattie Cox of Stafford and one brother, Jesse Gallahan of Spotsylvania County, two sisters, Mrs. Allie Raines of Spotstylvania County and Mrs. Lucy Curtis of Fredericksburg; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held at 11am. Saturday at Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home, with the burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Cates and Rev. Dennis Frey will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Lee D. Dickinson, Willie W. Dickinson, Boyd C. Dickinson, James M. Raines, Edgar C. Raines and Carroll T. Wheeler.
