Crandall, age 78 of Litchfield and formally of Coldwater, died on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005 at the Litchfield Nursing Center.Virginia was born August 31,1926 in Kalamazoo,to Maynard and Ethel (Huftile) Nutt. Virginia married Lawrence Crandall on September 6, 1942 in Fremont, In.He preceded her in death on April 30, 1989.
She was a home maker who lived most of her life in Coldwater. Virginia enjoyed reading her Bible and writing poetry, some of which were published. Virginia loved time with her family, especially her grand children. In addition to her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, June Clifford.She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Onofrietti of Coldwater, sons Terry(Phyllis) Crandall of Fremont,Lawrence M. (Carolyn) Crandall of Coldwater, five grand children and 12 great grand children.The service will be held on Friday, Feb.18, 2005 at 1 p.m.Dutcher Funeral Home, Coldwater , with Chaplain Carolyn Benson officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005,4-8-p.m. at the funeral home. Internment will be Riverside Cemetery in Union City.
