About W. Dale Ramsey
Dale proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II, where he was the recipient of the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Rail Splitters 84th Infantry Division and was classified as a sharp-shooter and was a .30-caliber machine gunner. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and also helped with the liberation of between 1,400 and 1,900 Polish Jewish girls from a concentration camp near Wittenberg, Germany.
