WONG Siew Chan, 黄兆鎮(黃子靜)

Wong Siew Chan was born in Singapore, graduated from Raffles College. He was admitted to Oxford University Law School and graduated in 1913. After returning to China, he lived in Guangzhou, Macau, Hong Kong, and loved Chinese culture. His primary residence was at "小畫舫齋" in Liwan, Guangzhou.

Wong Siew Chan's wife is the daughter of the Law's family of '羅奇生' (Loh Kee Seng). The Law's was a wealthy family from Xinhui County in Jiangmen Guangdong. Wong Ah Fook acquired the business when things went downhill financially for the Law's after WW1, with himself being the Chairman and 白見三 the general manager in Guangzhou for 羅奇生. WONG Peng Shing, 黄秉盛 was the Singapore manager for Loh Kee Seng (羅奇生)

Siew Chan had a son 黃秉章(1905－1997). Born in Guangzhou, graduated from Raffles College in Singapore, Master of Arts in Jesus College, Cambridge, England, and qualified as a professional accountant in 1927. During the Anti-Japanese War, he lived in Shanghai and other places, and founded the Wong Chan Accounting Firm in Hong Kong after the war. He is also interested in the collection of paintings and calligraphy ceramics. 黃秉章 had a daughter 黃佩瑜 and two sons 黃匡佐 and 黃匡寧 (maybe more, don't know). In 1999, the three donated more than 200 Ming and Qing Dynasties modern paintings and calligraphy of their ancestors to the Chinese University of Hong Kong

黃兆鎮(1885－1962)，別字子靜，黃福次子，生於新加坡，萊佛士書院畢業，負笈英國牛津大學及內宇法學院，1913年考獲律師資格，回國後，居廣州、澳門、香港，熱愛中國文化，書畫古物收藏極豐。上世紀三四十年代，經常召集文人墨客在廣州寓所小畫舫齋雅聚

從英國畢業後，他曾經在新加坡當過律師，反而回廣州後，就再也沒有做律師，也沒有從事什麼職業。事實上，他的父親留下的很多產業，已經足夠他不用工作就過上富裕的生活

黃子靜的妻子的家族是新會縣富商羅氏家族,在廣州市杉木欄經營羅有記莊口，收購中藥、絲綢、炮竹、花生油、中樂器和各種大宗土產，外銷南洋。歷時半個世紀，於1853年，再增設'羅奇生'出口洋莊. 1914年第一次世界大戰初期，國民政府成立不久,政局動盪,羅氏後代因經營不善,以致業務萎縮，最终将业务出顶。先將江門羅奇生轉讓給同鄉趙氏. 后来黃亞福收購了其餘全部羅氏企業,再在國內外招入新股，易名為'羅奇生'公司。
