Brief overview:

Walter (23), was shot dead on 4th December 2005 during a robbery at their family owned petrol station near Hartebeespoort in front of his wife, Yvonne, and sister, Jeanine.

A heavily armed gang attacked the petrol station and shop One group of robbers held up customers and staff in the shop while the other group forced their way into the locked office, demanding money.

The 23-year-old manager of the family business, Walter Blackaller, was shot in the head from a close distance when he told his attackers he did not have the key to a safe.
