Walter Gary Williams

Mr. Walter G. Williams, 66 of Clay, died Friday, March 19, 2004, in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg.

He was born on July 9, 1937, in Clay County to the late Ralph and Ivy Fitzwater Williams.

He was a retiree from a shipyard in San Diego, a Marine Corps Veteran, worked for Greenlee Property, in Clay, part-time for Clay Lumber Co., and a member of Fairview Baptist Temple.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 23, 2004, at Carl Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Clay, with Minister John Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Laurel Cemetery, Hansford Fork, with Military Graveside Rites Conducted by Clay VFW Post #4419. Friends may call from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Carl Wilson Funeral Home Chapel, Clay.
