Walter W Mankins

Son of John Bracken Mankins and Mary Stone Mankins.

He married Harriet Lynch in 1852. They had one daughter, Margaret D. Harriet Lynch Mankins died in 1853.

He married Sarah Elizabeth Watson on May 5, 1858.

He was the father to John Franklin (1859 – 1905), Mary Phoebe (1860 – 1882), Walter M. (1861 – ), Walter R. (1862 – 1931), Samuel H. (1864 – 1932), Lydia Jane "Jennie" (1867 – 1935), Jacob J. (1869 – 1886), Sarah Katherine (1872 – 1873), Lulu A. (1873 – 1931), Peter Lee (1875 – 1933), Fredrick (1879 – 1953), Lillie Mae (1881 – 1953), and Rose Nellie (1883 – 1919).

He lived in Arkansas, and he and his family lived in California, Washington, and finally settled back to California, in Arroyo Grande.

He died at age 73.
