Walter "Wag" Haskins, 74, St Vincent's Nursing Home, formerly of the Sherwood, North Dakota area, died at 1:04 pm July 28, 1987 at MedCenter One Hospital, Bismarck, North Dakota. Burial will be in the Sherwood Union Cemetery.

Mr Haskins was born June 29, 1913, at Sherwood, North Dakota.

He was raised on the family farm in Calhoun Township and attended Sherwood High School. He married Hazel Smith on September 10, 1934 in Sherwood, North Dakota. They lived on the family farm until retiring in 1972 and moving to Conrad, Montana and Henderson, Nevada. They moved to Minot, North Dakota in 1984 and to Bismarck, North Dakota in 1986. He entered St Vincent's Nursing Home in 1986.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs Don (Betty) Heramb, The Dalles, Oregon; three sons, Gerald, Minot, North Dakota; Curtis, Polson, Montana; and Art, Bismarck, North Dakota.

And 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by a brother, Art, Hillsboro, Oregon; two sisters, Bess Budke, Forest Grove, Oregon; and Helen Bodey, Spokane, Washington.
