Wesley J. Brown, 88, died Tues., Feb. 21, 1995. Wes born to Dero J. and Laura Della Brown in Tahlequah, Oklahoma Indian Territory on March 18, 1906. In his event filled long life, Wes was a fry cook, professional boxer, heavy machinery operator, and road builder in the mountains of Colorado. After World War II, he was a successful city engineer for the city of Scottsbluff, NE. In 1955 he moved his family to the Pacific Northwest to join the master planning department at Fort Lewis. He served as President of the American Society of Civil Engineers as well as President of the Society of American Military Engineers. Wes was also Past Master of Union Lodge #7 F. & A.M., Junction City, KS and was an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tacoma 9th Ward.
