On August 19th, 2008 Wilbur C. (Bud) Emery, sixth oldest child of Eva and Demitrius Emery of Copley, joined his two brothers and four sisters in their heavenly home.

Bud is survived by his wife, four sisters, two brothers, four children, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

During his life Bud was co-owner of Emery's Sparkle Market and owner of Bowlarama Bowling Lanes in Copley, and Emery Farms in Medina. After moving to Florida Bud developed and built homes in Geneva Lake Estates in Melrose. Bud's involvement in his local Catholic Church was always important to him. He sang in the choir, was on the church council and was a active member of St Vincent de Paul Society, founding the chapter at St. Patrick's Church in Florida. Bud was a Eucharistic Minister who ministered to many at Copley Health Center where he was cared for during the last three years.
