Vilmos and his wifa Aranka lived in Palarikovo, Slovakia with their daughters Erika & Judit.

Vilmos was running the family store in Nove Zamky, originally owned by his parents, after they had moved to Trnava to live with the family of their elder daughter Henrietta Reich, in the lower floor of their 2 story house in Kapitulska St.

During WW2, Vilmos & Aranka were thinking of Immigrating to America but they never got to do so. war started and they went into hiding in Budapest (where they were last seen, by niece Gerta Sidon), probably with the assistance of Artur Frank who lived in Budapest and helped most of his siblings' families go into hiding during the war.

Information from the International Tracing Service in Bad Arolsen, Germany: on 1st November 1944 Wilhelm was arrested in Gánt, Hungary. he was committed by the "Sicherheitspolizei" in Budapest to Concentration Camp Dachau/Commando Kaufering on 7th November 1944, Prisoner's Number 122876. Wilhelm was freed as detainee of Concentration Camp Dachau by the American Army on 5th May 1945. Category: Schutzhaft, Jude.

Wilhelm registered in Landsberg/Lech at a date not mentioned. he died at the municipal hospital in Landsberg/Lech on 30th May 1945 from Typhus Fever, and was buried on the cemetery in Landsberg/Lech, F. IV/A/1/6
