Willem (33), died when he was shot in his upper and lower body, and his right wrist, on 1st March 2007 on his farm in Kimberley. He was returning to his farm when three men attacked him, said Captain Cherelle Ehlers.
The armed males used cement and metal poles to block a cattle crossing on the Wintersrush gravel road. They fired four shots at Willem, and also assaulted him.
They stole Willems mobile phone and firearm.
A reward of R20,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the three attackers.
