William ABEL was born 9/8/1776 Warwickshire, England (son of William ABELL and Ann IZON)

William was convicted of larceny and sentenced to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 14/2/1792 on "Pitt"

William was sent to Norfolk Island in March 1796 on "Supply"

William had a relationship with Mary Ann MOREY (married on 21/12/1811 at Gretna, Tasmania) and they had the following children

William and Mary and their children went to Hobart in December 1807 on "Porpoise"
