William Anderson

Revolutionary War service. DAR Vol. 61, p.221. DAR #'s 60664 & 45041. Married 3 times?: Nancy Robins 1774; Mary Craig 1777; Catherine Blair 1779. The Craigs and the Blairs both lived in vicinity of the Old Stone Church at Ft. Defiance, as did the Anderson family. The surnames appear in numerous deeds and will of William Anderson's father, John Anderson.

William Anderson migrated to Kentucky in April 1779. He settled on Hickman's Creek.
