William Anthony Anthony was born on October 31, 1675 in Portsmouth, Newport County, Rhode Island, United States. His parents were Abraham Anthony and Alice Anthony.

William married Mary Coggeshall Anthony on March 14, 1694 in Portsmouth, Newport, RI. Together they had the following children:
