William Barcroft

William Barcroft was born on 4 August 1612 at Noyna, Colne, Lancashire, England.

He was the son of Ambrose Barcroft and Mary Hartley.

He married, firstly, unknown Waddington, daughter of John Waddington, they had five children (who were drowned with their mother when crossing to Ireland to join their father).1

He married, secondly, Margaret Barnard, daughter of Daniel Barnard, in 1652. He died on 2 February 1696 at age 83.

He settled at Ballylaking, County Offaly, Ireland.
