In Memoriam Beachtel- In sad but loving remembrance of our departed one, William F. Beachtel, who died January 2, 1916. Fold his hands in silent slumber, for his work on earth is done, In his dreams he saw his Saviour, and he beckoned him to come, Rest on dear father thy laborers o'er, thy willing hand will toil no more, A faithful father both true and kind, a truer father you could not find There is one who still will linger Mother, to the spot where you are laid, Who will come and scatter flowers on the grave that Christ has made, But still comes to my mind, that he is free from sickness and pain and I trust when my journey is ended, I will meet my dear father again. In Memoriam
In sad but loving remembrance
of my dear husband, William F.
Bechtel, who departed this life
two years ago, January 2, 1916.
the month of January twice more here.
To me the saddest of the year;
Because it took from me away,
My dear husband two years ago today.
The years are long since you left me,
They have grown to two today;
But I love you just as dearly,
As the hour you passed away.
Grieve not dear wife, I am at rest.
And shall forever be;
I cannot come on earth to you,
But you can come to me.
