W.B. KNIGHT PASSES AWAY
Central Conductor Will Be Buried Here This Afternoon
W.B. Knight, aged 73 years died at his home, 214 Hines Terrace, yesterday evening at 6:15 o'clock. Mr. Knight was a conductor, having been with the Central of Georgia Railway for 35 years. He was born and reared in this city. He was a Confederate Veteran and also a member of the Methodist Church.
Besides his wife, who was before her marriage, Miss Martha Hancock, he is survived by one son, H.G. Knight, of Fort Valley, and five daughters, Miss Marie Knight, Mrs. George A. Chapman, Mrs. Sam Hyman, of Macon, Mrs. Harrold Blackwell, of Atlanta, and Mrs. L.Z. Toney, of Lakeland, Fla. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock from Burghard's Chapel. Rev. R.E Douglas, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
