William Brickey was a private in the East TN Militia and was in the war of 1812 . He received two land grants of 25 acres each in 1827 and 1832. William Brickey was a Union sympathizer in the Civil War. He was a leader in the Tuckaleechee Primitive Bap. Church and served as a delegate to the Association in 1834 and was an Elder in 1838.
