About William Morrison Caldwell
William Morrison Caldwell married Rebecca Jane Graham in Quincy, Adams County, Illinois, on March 20, 1861. She was the daughter of Alexander and Jane Graham, Irish immigrants living in Pennsylvania.
William came to America from Ireland but when and where he arrived are yet to be discovered.
To William and Rebecca, three daughters were born. Mary Ann, Margaret Jane, and Isabelle (Isabell) Rebecca. Mary Ann passed as a child in the same year as her father. Margaret Jane Shipp passed in California in 1926.
Isabelle (Isabell) Rebecca Atwood passed in Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1951.
Rebecca's 1927 obituary, written by her surviving daughters, shows William Morrison Caldwell's life and death.
When daughter Mary Ann and husband William passed in 1865, Rebecca moved to Sullivan County, MO and married Elias W. Waller in 1866. She lived the rest of her life there.
