Abigail died just 6 days after the birth of her daughter Rhoda, probably because of complications from giving birth. William married Keziah less than 5 months later. Rhoda's birth, Abigail's death, and William's marriage to Keziah are all recorded on the same page of Westfield's vital records. The marriage record for Abigail and William refers to them as "Abigail Bush of Westfield" and "William Clark of Northampton".

Exactly when William moved to Westfield is unknown, but he seems to have spent most of his live there.
