About William Wilson Crawford, Sr
From Doris Waddell's Family Genealogy:
"William Crawford and his wife, Margaret, came to America from Ireland before the Revolutionary War, and they settled first in Maryland, but by 1797 had purchased land in Wythe County, Virginia. On September 26, 1797, he bought land in Greene County, Tennessee. His neighbor was William Hibbit, whose children became his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law. William died before the July session of the Greene County in 1803 when his will was probated."
