"Suggested edit: William was a blacksmith in the South Parish of Cambridge, a Selectman in 1757 and 1765-68. His father conveyed to him his homestead in the part of Cambridge that is now Brighton, for which he took care of his parents in their declining years. He and his wife Mary Greene were admitted into full communion at the First Church of Cambridge by Rev. Appleton 28 Feb 1741/42 after dismission from Newton."
