William Davis (Davies) son of Gwendollin Williams and Thomas Morgan Davies
William Davis (Davies) son of Gwendollin Williams of Wales and Thomas Morgan Davies of Wales. William joined the LDS Church and left Wales to come to America in 1864. His last name was originally spelled Davies but he changed it to Davis by 1870 US Census Record.
He married Amelia Evans Camp on 16 December 1864 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had nine children together and raised 2 of Amelia's children from a previous marriage.
