William Davison, 3rd Baron Broughshane

He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1939 entitled to practice as a barrister.

He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.

He fought in the Second World War.

He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.) in 1942.

He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1945.

He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baron Broughshane, of Kensington, London [U.K., 1945] on 22 September 1995.
