Painesville Telegraph, Sunday, November 20, 1983, Pg. C-6 William H. Dyke KIRTLAND – William H. Dyke, 84, died Saturday at home after a short illness. He was born June 8, 1899 in Dubois, Pa., and was a 60-year Kirtland resident. He was a caretaker for the J. D. Wright estate in Waite Hills before his retirement in 1971. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Kirtland, a 50-year member of Willoughby Masonic Lodge 302, a former member of the Lake County Fair Board, and a charter member of the Kirtland Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a daughter, Charlotte Turner of Euclid; two sons, Raymond M. and Ralph E., both of Kirtland; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Madeline, in 1971. Services are 2 p.m. Monday at the gravesite in South Kirtland Cemetery. Elder Allan B. Clough of RLDS will officiate. Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Davis Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. A Masonic service will be held at 8 tonight at the funeral home.
