William H. Gadd, 80, of Berea, died Saturday, June 11, 2016 at his residence following an illness. He was a Wildie, Kentucky native born October 27, 1935, son of the late John Hayes Gadd and the late Mary Jane Gadd Ramey, retired Dresser Industries employee and member of Galilee Baptist Church. William had been a resident of the Rockcastle and Madison Counties all his life.

Survivors include his loving wife, Margaret Powell Gadd; 2 children, Dianne (Orville) Lamb, Elwood (Mary Wilson) Gadd; 8 siblings, Opal Long, Geneva Thomas, Jerry Ramey, Lorene Damrell, Bonnie Adams, Wanda Combs, Irene Kirby, Dorothy Thomas; 2 grandchildren, Quentin (Ashley) Lamb, Curtis (Jessica Hays) Lamb; 2 great grandchildren, Alex Lamb, Samuel Lamb; as well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Wanda Laswell.

Funeral Service 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Abney and Bro. Zandell Hasty officiating. Burial will follow in Scaffold Cane Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Visitation 6:00 - 9:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Larry Phillips, Junior Phillips, Larry Gray, Larry Hobbs, Chester Powell, Jimmy Gadd.
