William Madison Godwin, Sr

After much internet research, I have come to the conclusion that Winifred and Pheriby are the same person. The dates of their children overlap, and some children are listed both in Winifred's list and Phereby's list. Both women were born and died at the same time and place. Some sources refer to her as Winifred "Pheriby". Below are various lists of children I found in various sources:

• (2) Thomas Godwin, born 8 APR 1807 in Georgia, married Mary Sparkman. Thomas was a twin.
• (3) William M Godwin II was the twin to Thomas. William M Godwin II was born 8 APR 1807 in Georgia; died 5 MAY 1897 in Pollard, Escambia County, Alabama.
