Henry Pratt

A 3rd cousin, Warren Pratt, also a genealogist, had done extensive research on Henry Pratt 1809-1886 in search of his father.
Elizabeth Pratt was Henry's mother.
She had Henry out of wedlock.
Based on Warren Pratt's DNA testing, we have proof that Henry Pratt's real father was Henry Witt, Born 25 Aug 1788 in Bedford County, Virginia and died 12 Jun 1809, the very same month, day and year that Henry Pratt was born.
Henry Witt was 20 years old at his time of death.
Henry Pratt Se., according to recent discovered factual information, was working in the farm field along with his brother. A thunder storm moved in while they were working and lightening struck both Henery and his brother. Henry died instantly and his brother died about 3 weeks later.
Also, Henry Pratt was married twice, Celia Hampton and Sarah "Sally" Gibson.
Celia gave birth to 10 children and Sarah gave birth to 4 children.

Henry (Witt, Jr.) Pratt was born on June 12, 1809 in Virginia, United States. His parents were Henry Witt and Elizabeth Pratt.

Henry married Sarah Sally Pratt on September 20, 1828 in Floyd, Kentucky, United States.
Together they had the following children:

1. Hiram G Gibson Pratt;
2. Luanna Maggard;
3. Anna Luanna Pratt.

Henry married Celia Hampton on December 29, 1835.
Together they had the following children:

1. Elizabeth (Betsy) Pratt;
2. Stephen S. Pratt;
3. Wilburn H. Pratt;
4. John Mack "Knock" Pratt, Sr.

He died on June 15, 1886 in Garner, Knott, Kentucky, United States and was buried in Leburn, Knott, Kentucky, United States.
