About William Hodgson
He lived in Guilford County, N.C. bought and sold considerable land, and always signed his name "Hodson." He died wihout leaving a will, and an administrator was appointed to settle his estate. An inventory of his possessions is shown on the court records at Greensboro, but his heirs are not named. Census records would indicate he had to least ten children, perhaps six sons and four daughters, and possibly still others.
William had 2 more children born between 1810-1820 but have no records of names.
