About William Edward Hukill, Sr

Mr. W. E. Hukill, Sr. died at his home on Saturday, January 28, 1928 in his 78th year, being born June 22, 1850. He was married on November 17, 1870 to Miss Sallie Carter.

He was the father of six children, on dying in infancy and the others who survive besides his wife are: W. E. Hukill, Jr., Sidney Hukill, Mrs. Leslie Erwin, Mrs. Ollie Gardner and Mrs. Will Sam Jones.

Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church by Rev. Corbin Adcock and burial was in the Franklinton Cemetery, Sunday afternoon.
