Some new info was found on familysearch.org on 1/25/09. From Film #456600 on IGI. Also his birth year may be 1781 or 1782

Much of this info was found at Heritage Quest, online genealogy source, in the book, "Edson Family History and Genealogy : descendants of Samuel Edson, Bridgewater, Mass.", by Carroll Andrew Edson, 1969 ? Page 1017. This is also where I found the info on his parents and his wife! 1/12/06 CB

This source also states, "He lived at Bethel, VT." It does not say when he lived there.

The info on his children was found on a family group record on Family Search IGI on1/16/06. The date of Alonzo's birth is not quite the same as I have found on Census records, but the Census records also disagree. The 1860 Census has him as being born about 1817, & the 1870 Census has him born about 1812.
