About William Neal Hyde, Sr
MOULTON -- Funeral for William Neal Hyde Sr., 71, of Danville will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with the Rev. Francis Proctor and the Rev. Brian Culbreath officiating.
Burial will be in Aldridge Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 until 9 at the funeral home.
Mr. Hyde died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2001, at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. He was born Jan. 24, 1930, in Lawrence County to Robert Claude Hyde and Ola Hyde.
He was a contract painter and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Speake Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ava Nell Hyde; three sons, William Hyde Jr. and Danny Hyde, both of Moulton, and Rick L. Hyde of Tuscumbia; three stepsons, Phillip Black, Larry Black and Robbin Black, all of Danville; three stepdaughters, Glenda Hembree of Hartselle, Martha Hill of Danville and Rita Culbreath of Tuscumbia; two brothers, Hansel Hyde and Arnold Hyde, both of Michigan; one sister, Willie Belle Montgomery of Madison; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 17 stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
Sons and stepsons will be pallbearers.
