William Jones was born on 8 Dec 1654 in Westminster, City of Westminster, Greater London, England when his father William Jones was 30 and mother Christian (Lunne) Jones was 24. He is the brother of Nathaniel Jones [half], Hannah (Jones) Booth [half], Sarah Jones [half], Elizabeth (Jones) Morgan [half], Samuel Jones [half], Isaac Jones [half] and Susanna (Jones) Wilson [half]. He married Abigail (Morse) Jonses on 18 Oct 1687 in Watertown, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay. He is father of Caleb Jones. William died on 23 May 1700 in Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut. He died on May 23, 1700, in Guilford, Connecticut, at the age of 45, and was buried there.

Gravesite Detail
Although this person was likely interred in Guilford's original village cemetery (now the commons and public park in downtown Guilford), no surviving gravestone was known in 1818 when all gravestones at the Village Green, but not the people's remains, were dispersed to other town cemeteries.
