 3)  Joseph Parsley William was a widower when he married Elizabeth, who was a spinster. 14 July 1822, Saint Mary, Newington, Surrey, London. U.K.  He married Elizabeth Adams in the U.K. They came to the Cape around 1829. It has been said that he was part of the Moodie settlement. Elizabeth passed away, and he married widow Eva Catherina Morgenrood 16 September 1839 St John's Anglican Church.
