I William Kindall of Wilkes County N Carolina being of sound mind Blessed be God do this Seventh day of June Eighteen hundred and forty do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say first I give my soul to God and my body to the tomb to be decently buried.

First it is my will and desire that all my just debts be punctually paid and second it is my will that my son Thomas Kindall and my son in law John D. Kindall do hold and possess the lands they each live on during my natural life and after my decease free of rents or charges so long as my two daughters Elizabeth and Anny Kindall may live single and un-married.

By the said Thomas Kindall & John D Kindall affording my said Two daughters a comfortable support of Bed and boarding while they may live single or either of them to be found jointly by my son & son in law above named as they may agree to which proportion and after my death or the marriage of my daughters Elizabeth & Ann or either of them it is Then my will and desire that my Executor sell all my land and premises to the highest bidder at Twelve Months Credit and the net proceeds to be equally divided between all my children both males and females.

Further I do appoint my son Thomas Kindall to be my Executor to This my last will and testament revoking all others In witness whereof I the said Wm. Kindall have fixed my hand and seal The day and date first written.
