In the name of God Amen I WILLIAM LAWS of the County being sick and very low but in my perfect sense and memory thanks be to Almighty God for the same first I commit my body to the ground from whence it came and my soul to God whom gave it to me and as for my worldly goods I dispose of as follows with Item I give unto my son in Law PETER BOWMAN or his Heirs Nine pounds cash I give unto my daughter AMEY DYES and her Heirs for ever twenty poundscash I give unto my daughter MARY CROSS and her heirs for ever Twenty poundsI give unto my daughter ANN LOVELACE and her Heirs for ever Twenty pounds cashI give unto my daughter PATTY ADAMS and her Heirs for ever twenty pounds cash I give unto my daughter ABBY HAMPTON and her heirs for ever Twenty pounds cashI give unto my son WELCOM WILLIAM LAWS my Plantation where I now live on one hundred acres more or less with all the rest of my Estate to him and his heirs for everI appoint WELCOM WILLIAM LAWS and JOHN LAWS Sen'r my Ex'rs this my Last will and Testament revoking all other wills and testaments this Seventh day of January in the year of our Lord God One Thousand and Seven hundred and Eighty WILLIAM LAWS ("X" his mark)
